Coach Kurich returns for a second year as head coach. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. He is currently working towards a Masters of Arts in Teaching at Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois.
William was a 3-year starter at 2nd base for 3-time Iowa Conference champions, Wartburg College. He was selected 1st-team All-Iowa Conference in 1998 and 1999, 2nd-team All-Central Region in 1998 and named Honorable Mention in the All-Central Region in 1999. William was captain of his 1999 Wartburg team.
Coach Kurich is a Graduate Assistant Baseball Coach at Concordia University, serving as hitting and infield coach, assistant recruiting coordinator and first base coach. He also coordinates the hitting and infield portions of the Cougar Kids Winter Camps.
William has organized baseball camps throughout the Chicago area for the Chicago White Sox Training Centers out of Wheaton, Illinois. He has also served as Head Freshman Baseball Coach for Waverly-Shell Rock High School in Waverly, Iowa; On-Field Manager for the Chcago Americans Baseball Organization in Norridge, Illinois; Private hitting instructor for the Norridge Park District; Fitness Center Supervisor providing fitness instruction to members and maintaining weights and fitness equipment; Special Events Coordinator for the Norridge Park District. |
