In memory  of our not-forgotten friend An Indian For 35 Years…  Player, Coach, Manager Larry DeLutis 1943 —1997

Larry’s commitment to the success of the Rome Indians was unending. He spent much time and effort seeing to the needs of the league, the team and especially the players. Larry often used personal funds on behalf of the players to help them through difficult situations. He was always there for the players, contributing to their overall experience with the Indians. Many players continued their correspondence with Larry for years to keep him informed of their personal and professional progress. Larry was truly a “father” and dedicated friend of the league, the team and the players. He will be missed by all.
